Kansas Geological Survey reports
that preliminary groundwater level measurements show mixed results for western and south-central Kansas in 2023, with some areas in the northwest and west-central part of the state experiencing increases for the first time in three or more years.

Lawrence Journal World
, the lawn care website
Lawn Love recently published
its list of the most expensive cities in the U.S. for lawn watering. Lawrence, Kansas, ranked No. 108 out of 498 cities examined. That was third highest in the state, behind Topeka at No. 96 and Wichita at No. 97.
